Getting started

Your first 20 minutes in Tendera

You're already in the club — licence, insurance, trade. This is just the order of operations so you're not lost in menus. Scan the feed, read the plain-English crib, run the go/no-go ticks in under a minute, then open the buyer's portal when you are ready to lodge.

1. Complete your profile

Go to Edit profile / onboarding. Add your primary trade, postcode, and how far you drive. That powers match scores and region defaults on Find Work — we need the basics so we are not wasting your morning on junk.

2. Track compliance (optional but smart)

Open Compliance and add your public liability or trade licence with an expiry date. You get a nudge before things go stale — fewer nasty surprises on close day.

3. Find one tender and run the checklist

Go to Find Work, open any listing, and scroll to Should I bid? Tick the boxes honestly — same go/no-go thinking as the longer Australian tender process guide, but on the page where you need it. We don't draft responses; you decide in sixty seconds whether it is worth opening the official pack.

4. Save and pipeline

On a tender detail page, use Save and Add to pipeline so you can find it again from Saved and Pipeline.

5. Lodge on the buyer's portal

Tendera finds government tenders for Australian tradies and shows them in plain English. When you are ready to respond, you follow the buyer's process — lodgement always happens on their site, not here. Logged-in tools (AI chat on a tender, market intelligence, pipeline) are on pricing — discovery stays front and centre.

Coverage depends on sources and region; you always read the official documents and lodge where the buyer says.
