About Tendera
Built by a tradie who got sick of missing the work.
The short version
Tendera started because the bloke who built it was losing work he should've been winning. Councils, schools and hospitals were posting jobs in his patch every week — buried across AusTender, VendorPanel, ICN Gateway and another ten portals written in procurement-speak. He was finding out months later, when someone else had already done the job.
The ones winning the work weren't smarter. They just had a $2–5k-a-month consultant, or a full-time office person, or three hours every night. So we built the thing he wished existed.
Why we're here
Government work was never a club. If you've got the licence, the insurance and the trade, you're already in it. The only thing standing between you and the work is knowing it exists. That's the problem we fix. We don't write your bids, we don't sit between you and the buyer — we just make sure you actually see what's out there.
What we actually do
Every morning before breakfast, Tendera scans federal, every state and territory, VendorPanel, ICN Gateway work packages, and council sites across Australia. Thousands of tenders in. A filtered feed out — matched to your trade, your postcode, and the size of job you actually want.
- Trade-matched feed across every major Australian portal, scanned daily
- Plain-English summaries so you understand the scope in 30 seconds
- Go/no-go checklist — licences, insurances, deadlines — in under a minute
- Market intelligence: what similar contracts were actually awarded for
Australian owned. Australian built.
Made for the tradies doing the work, in the country where the work is.
